Some people thought Obamacare was going to be free. Others actually thought you could ‘take care of everybody’ without it hitting it their own pocketbooks. All were seriously deluded and some are now waking up to the cold, hard reality of government-run healthcare. Here’s some buyer’s remorse from a liberal in the Progressive nirvana of Santa Cruz, California:
“I can’t tell you how pissed off the new healthcare thing is making me. I have private health insurance that I pay for myself right now, as an individual. The mandated new plan mandates that my current plan expire on the first and I be forced to pay for a plan that is, at a minimum, TWICE what my current plan costs me. Way to help out, “Affordable” healthcare act. So pissed. It’s one thing to make these plans available and to mandate that everybody have SOME sort of health plan. It’s another thing to force me to double my insurance cost each month. Nice.”
Remember when Obama said his healthcare law would save everybody $2,500 a year? How’s it feel to be duped, played for a fool, used, and thrown under the bus when you’re no longer needed? Not nice, is it? Kind of makes you want to join the resistance, doesn’t it? It should.
Just call your premium increases the wages of mindlessness. You’re getting the healthcare system you begged for and will continue to deserve for as long as you do nothing to get rid of it.
